I loved the format of chapters following characters - they were easy to read but jam-packed with info that built the story...
The plot is full of intrigue without making it easy to know who's good and who's not!! Apart from Juk and Ashran, I haven't a clue who can be trusted!!! (in fact, can they?!)
The first volume has done a good job of building up an overview of the realm in which it is set - The towns and villages are becoming as familiar as Westeros or Middle Earth!!

Bio
An English Language Teacher by profession who graduated from The Open University in the UK with a BA (English) and MEd (Applied Linguistics).
I've taught in various countries around the world, and I've now found time to embark on my second passion - writing. My first novel, The Waxing Moon: Volume 1 of The Areekyan Chronicles Trilogy.
Creating the land of Areekya with its many compelling characters has been an enjoyable and rewarding labour of love. I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I did telling their stories.
